4700BC targets Rs 500 crore revenue, appoints new CEO

Homegrown snack brand 4700BC is accelerating its expansion, targeting Rs. 500 crore in revenue within three years. The company has appointed Sreejit Madhavan Nair as CEO to drive its next growth phase. Nair, with experience at PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, Raw Pressery, and Costa Coffee India, will focus on innovation, market expansion, and brand excellence.

“The premium snacking category is evolving rapidly, and 4700BC is uniquely positioned to capture this opportunity,” said Nair. “We aim to expand into new snacking categories and confectionery while strengthening distribution and product excellence.”

4700BC has witnessed seven-fold growth in four years and expects to reach Rs 125 crore in annual recurring revenue by March 2025. It targets Rs 250-300 crore revenue by FY 2027.

“Our next growth phase requires strong leadership, retail expansion, and a solid corporate foundation,” said Chirag Gupta, Founder of 4700BC. “We will accelerate product development, drive innovation, and enhance brand presence through strategic partnerships.”

Founded in 2012, 4700BC started with mall kiosks and expanded into institutional sales, general trade, e-commerce, airlines, and railways. With a consumer base of over 30 million, its product range includes popcorn, pop chips, makhanas, and crunchy corn.
