Swiggy partners with IRCTC to deliver food in trains

Swiggy, a food delivery service platform, is teaming up with Indian Railways to bring meals to train passengers. The company through its partnership with IRCTC aims to provide pre-ordered meals to travelers using IRCTC’s e-catering portal.

This collaboration has been announced through a filing with the stock exchange by IRCTC, will be facilitated by Bundl Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (Swiggy Foods), and is expected to launch soon.

The service will be available at select railway stations such as Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam railway stations in its initial stage. 

By partnering with Swiggy, IRCTC aims to streamline the meal ordering and delivery process for travelers and enhance the passenger experience by offering convenient food options during train journeys.
