Nestlé India, one of the country’s largest and most trusted FMCG companies, has announced a major leadership transition, with the parent company proposing Manish Tiwary, former Amazon India executive, as the new Managing Director. The move is aimed at addressing the challenges of stagnant sales and intensifying competition in the market.
Prior to his role at Amazon, Tiwary spent eight years with Unilever , working across its Indian and Middle Eastern subsidiaries. His experience across various sectors, ranging from e-commerce to traditional consumer goods.
Suresh Narayanan, the long-serving Chairman & Managing Director, will retire on July 31, 2025, after a distinguished career of 26 years with the company. The board will deliberate on the appointment procedure in the coming weeks, and if approved, Tiwary will officially take over the role after Narayanan’s retirement.
