Food delivery major Swiggy has significantly expanded its 10-minute delivery service, Bolt, to over 400 cities across India. Initially launched in select metro cities, Bolt is now available in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities like Roorkie, Guntur, Warangal, Patna, and Shillong.
“For the first time, people are getting food from their favorite restaurants to their doorstep, as fresh as possible,” said Rohit Kapoor, CEO of Swiggy’s Food Marketplace. “Idlis come warm and fluffy, ice creams stay frozen, and even fries are crispy right out of the package.”
Swiggy has optimized the delivery process by limiting the delivery radius to 2 km and prioritizing delivery executives closest to Bolt outlets. The company has also assured that delivery partners are not incentivized for speed, ensuring their safety.
Bolt offers a wide range of food items from over 40,000 restaurants, focusing on dishes that can be delivered quickly without compromising on taste or quality.
With this expansion, Swiggy aims to revolutionize the food delivery industry by providing customers with ultra-fast and convenient service.
