With its ongoing commitment to empowering farmers, bigbasket celebrated the day by connecting with over 5,000 farmers through personalized letters from CEO Hari Menon and heartfelt messages from customers, expressing gratitude for their dedication and hard work.
The letters, delivered to farmers at bigbasket’s 77 collection centers across India, emphasized the critical role farmers play in ensuring fresh, healthy meals for millions of households. To further mark the occasion, bigbasket hosted a special Farmer Felicitation Event at its Chintamani Collection Center in Karnataka on December 20, 2024. Farmers were recognized with mementoes for their exceptional contributions, followed by a community lunch.
