BIRA 91, India’s leading craft beer brand, has officially launched its newest Taproom in Mumbai, marking the brand’s eighth location. Situated in the vibrant Santa Cruz area, this Taproom is set to offer an unmatched craft beer experience, making Mumbai the sixth city in BIRA 91’s growing network of Taprooms across the country.
Ankur Jain, Founder and CEO of BIRA 91, expressed his excitement about the launch: “We are thrilled to bring the BIRA 91 Taproom experience to Mumbai, a city known for its energy, diversity, and love for innovation. Our Taprooms are designed to not only showcase our unique brews but also create a space where people can connect over their shared love for craft beer. Mumbai is the perfect location for our continued expansion, and we’re excited to introduce our 8th outpost to this amazing city.”
The new Taproom will feature an extensive lineup of BIRA 91’s craft beers, brewed with top-quality ingredients to offer a bold and flavorful experience. But it’s not just about the beer – exceptional food is also a key part of the Taproom experience. BIRA 91 has partnered with renowned Celebrity Chef Vicky Ratnani to create a thoughtfully curated menu that complements each beer on tap.
Rahul Singh, Senior Vice President of BIRA 91’s Pubs Vertical, highlighted the importance of pairing great beer with great food: “At our Taprooms, we believe that exceptional beer deserves exceptional food. Our new Taproom in Mumbai will not only feature the widest range of beers on tap, but also a menu curated by Chef Vicky Ratnani, designed to perfectly complement each brew. By blending bold flavors with local culinary influences, we aim to create a dining and drinking experience that truly resonates with the diverse tastes of ‘The City of Dreams.’”
This latest opening is part of BIRA 91’s broader mission to promote craft beer culture across India. With Taprooms now in six cities – Ludhiana, Mohali, Delhi, Gurgaon, Bengaluru, and now Mumbai – BIRA 91 continues to lead the way in creating immersive craft beer experiences for Indian consumers.
