Flipkart Launches Fulfillment Center in Jaipur, Rajasthan

To cater to the growing demand for e-grocery in Rajasthan, Flipkart has launched a grocery fulfillment center (FC) in the pink city Jaipur. This initiative marks a significant stride in the company’s mission to enhance delivery services for online groceries across the state.

This new fulfillment center not only strengthens Flipkart’s collaboration with local farmers, MSMEs, and other businesses but also generates over 600 direct and indirect job opportunities within the local community.

Rajneesh Kumar, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Flipkart Group, shared on his LinkedIn profile, ”Rajasthan presents a significant growth opportunity for the ecommerce industry.  As a homegrown e-commerce organization, Flipkart is always tuned in to the needs of Indian consumers and addresses them with innovation. We’re happy to share that we’ve launched a grocery fulfillment center (FC) in the pink city Jaipur, Rajasthan. This launch significantly advances our efforts to enhance delivery services for online groceries in the State. As we expand our footprint, the new FC aligns with our commitment to strengthening partnerships with local farmers, MSMEs, and other local businesses. The FC also unlocks more than 600 direct and indirect local job opportunities.”

This new FC launch will help bolster Flipkart’s ‘Samarth Krishi’ intiative, aimed at empowering Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and small-scale farmers to tap into digital markets. Rajneesh  further emphasized, “We are very impressed with the progress that we’ve made on this agri- focussed initiative. At Flipkart, we remain steadfast in our vision of empowering these communities economically and fostering sustainable growth, all while creating new avenues for livelihoods.”
