Flipkart, an e-commerce marketplace under the ownership of Walmart, has unveiled its latest endeavor in the grocery services. According to a report from Retail Insight, the company has inaugurated a grocery fulfilment center situated in Malda, West Bengal.

Spanning an  area of 1,13,000 square feet, this facility serves as a crucial platform for numerous local sellers, as well as micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), along with farmers, facilitating their access to the national market.

The strategic location of the centre in Malda, West Bengal, ensures efficient distribution across the region, empowering local businesses to thrive and expand their reach. With a robust infrastructure in place, the facility has the potential to dispatch a volume of 100,000 units per day, thus enhancing accessibility to a diverse range of products for consumers nationwide.
