Jayen Mehta, Managing Director of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which markets the iconic Amul brand, has received a five-year extension in his role, continuing his leadership until 2029-2030.
With over 34 years of service at GCMMF, Mehta has held pivotal roles, including Brand Manager, Group Product Manager, and General Manager in marketing, showcasing his comprehensive expertise. His contributions extend globally as a member of the Standing Committee of Marketing at the International Dairy Federation (IDF).
Recognized for his leadership and influence, Mehta was recently named to Campaign Asia’s Asia Pacific Power List 2024, an honor highlighting the most impactful marketers in the region. This extension reinforces his pivotal role in driving Amul’s continued success and innovation in the dairy sector.
