Residents of Gangtok can now enjoy a world-class restaurant experience with McDonald’s, one of the most loved brands in India, opening its first restaurant at West Point mall, Gangtok, Sikkim. Spread over an area of 2240 sq. ft. and a seating capacity of 116, featuring a contemporary look and feel with globally inspired décor, furniture, and exterior design, offering a warm and welcoming restaurant environment.
Announcing the restaurant launch, Rajeev Ranjan, Managing Director, McDonald’s India – North and East, said, “We are excited to bring the McDonald’s experience to Sikkim, a vibrant and rapidly growing city in Sikkim. Our presence here is a step towards making the world-class McDonald’s experience accessible to people of Gangtok and part of our expansion plans in the Northeast region. The inauguration ceremony was graced by Bhoj Raj Rai, Minister for Urban Development Department, Government of Sikkim to the significance of this milestone event.

As part of ongoing efforts to prioritize customer satisfaction and convenience, the new McDonald’s store in Gangtok will offer various ordering options, including dine-in and takeaway services, ensuring that customers can enjoy their McDonald’s favourites wherever and whenever they choose.
