Must Read

Homegrown food-tech startup On2Cook is accelerating its global expansion, banking on its innovative cooking device that cuts cooking time by up to 70% while reducing energy consumption by 50%.

Founder and CEO Sanandan Sudhir revealed in an exclusive interview with ET Retail that the company is scaling production and expanding its footprint in the commercial kitchen sector. On2Cook has already established a distribution network in the GCC region (Dubai) and is now in talks with distributors in Israel, the UK, and North America.

Designed for quick-service restaurants (QSRs) and cloud kitchens, the device combines induction and microwave technology, offering substantial cost savings—ranging from Rs. 40,000- Rs. 70,000 per unit per month for Indian restaurants, with even greater financial impact in high-cost markets like Dubai and the US.

The startup recently raised Rs. 8 crore in its Rs. 20 crore Pre-Series A round, following a Rs. 17 crore seed round in 2022 at a Rs. 100 crore valuation.
