Must Read

In a strategic move to strengthen its presence in India’s evolving retail landscape, Sula Vineyards has expanded its premium wine offerings within the Canteen Stores Department (CSD) by introducing four new labels. The newly listed wines include the widely acclaimed Dindori Reserve Shiraz, RĀSĀ Syrah, The Source Grenache Rosé, and Sula Riesling, all of which further elevate the brand’s premium wine portfolio.

This expansion brings Sula’s total CSD-listed wines to nine, reinforcing its commitment to serving India’s defence and service personnel with top-tier offerings. The move follows a notable 40% growth in CSD wine sales over the past two years, highlighting the segment’s increasing significance.

Rajeev Samant, CEO, Sula Vineyards, expressed pride in this achievement, stating, “Marking a key milestone, Sula has secured the listing of four new wines in the CSD, following the culmination of a two-year-long process. Dindori Reserve Shiraz, one of Sula’s best red wines, is now entering the CSD and is expected to further accelerate momentum in this segment.”

With the first shipment already dispatched in March 2025, Sula is poised for a robust performance in FY26. This development not only enhances the brand’s elite offerings but also cements its leadership in India’s premium wine category.
