As the whole country watched fixated the coronation ceremony of Lord Rama at the grand Ayodhya Ram Mandir, Bhagat Halwai, a distinguished Agra-based sweet emporium, endeavored to infuse the essence of joy and celebration that marked the joyous occasion, in its own distinct way.
In collaboration with Ek Pahel, a reputed UP-based NGO, Bhagat Halwai created a 51 kg, 3-foot tall “MahaLaddo”, made of desi ghee and boondi, to be distributed among the underprivileged children.
Six skilled artisans from Bhagat Halwai dedicated 6.5 hours to meticulously handcraft the mahaladdoo prasad, symbolizing the joyous occasion of Lord Ram’s consecration in Ram Janambhoomi at the grand Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
Pradeep Bhagat, Managing Director, Bhagat Halwai, shared his thoughts on the initiative, stating, “As a family-owned business with deep roots in our community, it is our responsibility to give back. We believe in the power of sharing joy, and what better way to do that than by distributing our specially crafted laddoo and sweet boxes to underprivileged children. This initiative aligns with our values, and we are proud to be a part of the larger celebration of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Inauguration.”
Shivam Bhagat, Director, Bhagat Halwai, expressed his excitement about the initiative stating, “At Bhagat Halwai, we are honored to be a part of this historic occasion. The Ayodhya Ram Mandir consecration is a momentous event for our nation, and we are thrilled to contribute to the celebrations by crafting a one-of-a-kind laddoo and sweet box. Our aim is not only to indulge in the joyous festivities but also to spread happiness among the underprivileged children through our collaboration with Ek Pahel.”
In addition to the mahaladdoo, Bhagat Halwai has also designed an exclusive sweet box with a captivating Ayodhya Mandir theme and is offering exciting discounts on the same. The sweet box boasts a variety of mouthwatering treats, each carefully curated to add a touch of sweetness to the celebrations.
