Swiggy launches AI-powered app ‘Pyng’ to connect users with verified professionals

Swiggy has expanded its digital ecosystem with the launch of ‘Pyng’, an AI-powered app aimed at simplifying access to professional services. The move marks the hyperlocal delivery giant’s entry into the professional services space, with Pyng positioned as an online marketplace designed to meet the growing yet underserved needs of urban consumers.

Announced on April 15, the platform promises to address the challenge of sifting through countless online searches by offering quick, reliable access to a curated network of verified experts. These include professionals across categories such as health and wellness, financial advisory, astrology and spirituality, event planning, travel and lifestyle, as well as education and skill development.

Swiggy stated that Pyng will combine advanced AI tools, a carefully vetted pool of experts, and a customer-first approach to make the discovery and booking of services seamless and trustworthy. Users will be assisted by a smart AI assistant that interprets queries and suggests the most relevant professionals, all within a secure, spam-free environment.

In a bid to instill trust and accountability, Pyng will also offer a money-back guarantee if users do not find value in the service.

“As our lives become increasingly fast-paced, the demand for professional assistance—from tax planners and counsellors to yoga trainers—is growing across both personal and professional spheres. With Pyng, we’re offering a reliable, spam-free platform where users can connect with trusted experts,” said Nandan Reddy, Co-founder and Head of Innovation, Swiggy.

Having launched its seller app earlier this year, Pyng has already onboarded over 1,000 professionals across 100+ specializations, reflecting Swiggy’s ambition to revolutionize how consumers access and experience expert guidance.

Pyng joins Swiggy’s growing app portfolio, which also includes SNACC, SwigL, Instamart, and Swiggy Minis, reinforcing the brand’s push into diversified digital offerings.
