Jitendra Bagga has stepped down as Vice President of Central Operations at Zepto after a nine-month tenure. During his time at Zepto, Bagga managed key warehousing initiatives, including mother hubs and line haul projects, amid the company’s aggressive expansion.
In 2024, Zepto significantly scaled its operations, increasing its dark store count from 300 to over 750 to compete with rivals such as Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, Flipkart Minutes, and Tata BigBasket.
Bagga joined Zepto in April 2024, bringing over 27 years of supply chain expertise, including roles at Raymond and Reliance Retail. His departure follows that of Chief Human Resource Officer Martin Dinesh Gomez, who resigned earlier in December after 11 months. These exits come as Zepto relocates its headquarters and staff from Mumbai to Bengaluru.
