Zomato Relaunches Legends Service with New Modifications

Must Read

Online food delivery platform Zomato has relaunched its Intercity Legends service, which aims to deliver signature dishes from various cities across India.  This relaunch has been made with significant modifications to ensure its profitability of the long-distance delivery model.

The food aggregator has set a minimum order value of Rs 5,000 to make this model sustainable. This threshold helps cover the costs associated with long-distance food delivery, ensuring that the service remains viable for the company.

Apart from the minimum order value, Zomato has also streamlined its logistics and order placing timings. Orders placed after 7 PM will be delivered the next day.

The service is currently applicable in high demanding metro cities like Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai. These changes come after Zomato temporarily suspended the Intercity Legends service in April.

The modifications aim to address challenges faced in the initial phase of the service and create a more profitable and reliable model for long-distance food delivery. By focusing on high-value orders and managing delivery schedules more efficiently, Zomato is working to enhance the customer experience while ensuring the service’s sustainability.
